What does tithing mean?
The tithe is the first tenth of one's income. It is the "first fruit" of your increase. The principle behind your tithe being your first fruit is you are recognizing God as your source of supply; He is the cause of your prosperity.
What is an offering?
An offering is a financial gift of any amount as God has prospered you over and above your tithe.
What is the purpose of tithes and offerings?
The purpose of tithes and offerings is to support the ministry, vision and the ongoing work of your church. Tithes and offerings should be given with pure motives and an attitude of worship to God and service to the body of Christ. He tells us in II Corinthians 9 that people should give what they have decided in their heart to give; not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
Why do I need an account to give online?

What online giving methods do you accept?
You may give by credit/debit card or by e-check (ACH).
Will I receive a receipt for online giving?
Yes. You will be emailed a donation receipt each time you give online. Additionally, we will send you a year-end statement that includes all your tax-deductible contributions - both online and any contributions given using your church offering envelopes.
Why would I want to give online?
Security and convenience make online transactions an increasingly popular means of donating to an organization. It helps you to be able to support the church while you are not able to attend, such as when you are on vacation. Plus, you can take advantage of the discipline that recurring donations can provide for your giving.
